Daughter of an artist, Martha grew up in the Chicago area. She is an alumna
of Drake University in Des Moines and Lorenzo de Medici Institute in
Florence, Italy. Currently she teaches art to young children through the OMA
arts program in Tucson. Martha’s love for nature is the source of her artistic
inspiration. She enjoys using the brush in a direct expressive manner to capture
the beauty of a landscape. She exhibits her work in northern New England in the
summer months, and is currently painting and exhibiting work in the southwest.
